Screen NZ International, is a coalition of experienced screen business owners and leading industry professionals working across New Zealand’s international screen production sector.
We are focused on supporting and strengthening international screen production in New Zealand.

Thank you to all who participated in the Crew and Supplier survey we have posted the results on the resource page.
The key findings were that there has been a significant reduction in production in 2025 compared with 2024 and more than 80% of crew have had inconsistent work in 2025 as of July 2025 and also do not have confirmed work opportunities for the rest of 2025. Overall there has been a reduction in production work of over 70%.
This supports our requests to MBIE and Minister Willis to make urgent changes to the international NZSPR settings to reactivate the global production pipeline in New Zealand.
