More work than a year ago, but the recovery is fragile.

More than 500 crew and businesses took part in our 2026 Annual Industry Survey. The surveys were open from 28 July to 1 September 2026.

The results point to a fragile recovery. More crew and businesses reported consistent work than in our 2025 Annual Survey. But since our interim survey in March 2026, fewer crew have work booked ahead and confidence has fallen. Half of businesses also expect revenue to decline.
