FilmFX was launched in the early 1990s to provide mechanical and physical special effects to New Zealand film and television. Pyrotechnics and Flame effects, with the most experienced screen industry pyro team in Auckland. Hydraulic, pneumatic, and kinetic effect are also well taken care of with mechanical rigs, moving set pieces, and a Motion control gimble.
