July 2025 Survey

Crew and Supplier Survey’s were undertaken by Screen NZ in July 2025 and includes responses from nearly 900 total participants - please see a summary analysis of the results below.

Results show a clear decline in international production pipeline in 2025 and this data has been provided to MBIE and Min. Willis as evidence to support our requests for changes to the NZSPR settings.

We expect to run surveys at least 2-3 times a year, and as required, to support the NZ international screen sector data collection, which allows us to better analyse the environment.
